The future kind of scares the shit out of me, in general. Just because you never, ever know what’s going to happen. That’s part of the reason I’m so awful at making plans, I think. I don’t like to think too far ahead and I take things one day at a time because anything more than that just makes me nervous and anxious and I just really don’t like it. Besides, things change and plans fall apart and I feel like my hopes get too high if I start thinking ahead too much…
